Hill Family Farms to Host First Annual Community Car Show & Summer Fundraiser on July 11, 2026

WHITAKERS, NC — Hill Family Farms, a nonprofit rooted in service, faith, and community impact, will host its first annual Community Car Show & Summer Fundraiser on Saturday, July 11, 2026, inviting families, car enthusiasts, and community members together for a day centered around connection, celebration, and giving back.

Hosted on the organization’s beautiful 37-acre farm in Whitakers, the event will feature:

The event is designed to bring the community together while raising funds to support programs serving children, seniors, and individuals with disabilities across the region.

A Mission Rooted in Service

Founded by longtime educator Eunice Hill, Hill Family Farms has become a cornerstone of support throughout surrounding communities.

After retiring in 2024 following a distinguished 37-year career as a Head Start Director, Hill continues her life’s work through the nonprofit organization she began building in 2016.

“Everything we do is rooted in serving God by serving God’s people,” said Hill. “This event is about more than cars or a gathering—it’s about bringing people together to support the work that’s changing lives every day.”

Hill Family Farms focuses its work around three core areas:

Over the past year alone, the organization has positively impacted more than 1,100 children through summer programming while also providing food distribution and wellness support for seniors and families across four counties.

Serving the Community When It Matters Most

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when traditional support services experienced disruptions, Hill Family Farms stepped forward to fill critical gaps by providing food assistance to seniors and individuals with disabilities.

That commitment strengthened the organization’s role as an essential community resource and reinforced its mission to ensure neighbors have access to the support they need.

Building a Signature Annual Tradition

Organizers hope the Community Car Show & Summer Fundraiser becomes a signature annual event that grows year after year.

The July 11 fundraiser is expected to attract more than 300 vehicles alongside strong community participation throughout the day.
