The Farm is the Place to Be in the Summer, with our beautiful Outdoors Learning Educational Environment, Fun Recreation at the farm.

Once school lets out for summer, the Hill Family Farm Education Center is transformed into the ultimate active learning zone. With programs taking place every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, kids can enjoy fun activities like flag football, cycling, arts & crafts, volleyball, nutrition, STEM, and organic gardening. Programs are funded with grants from the KB Reynolds Trust, Camber Foundation and Edgecombe Charitable Fund, North Carolina Healing Community, Edgecombe County Mini Grant, the Louise Oriole Burevitch Endowment, the Edgecombe Charitable Fund, and donations from the community.

The Youth Summer Fun program provides many ways for our children to stay active and engaged, while making great memories and discovering new passions.
