Increasing Healthy Food Access in Edgecombe and Halifax Counties
Many members of our community don’t have a grocery store in their neighborhood. They can’t afford to buy fresh produce for their family. With our Mobile Market, we are striving to offer an oasis in the food desert. This program helps individuals access fresh fruits, vegetables, and other staples. It supports healthier living.
The Mobile Market runs on the third Saturday of every month. With more support, we would love to run this program more often to reach more members of the community.
